Get to Know Jessica

What current medical research are you most excited about?

Brain connectomics and modulation through rTMS. I am so excited about the future of neuroscience research in developing minimally invasive, personalized therapies for neuro-cognitive wellbeing.

How do you strengthen your mental fitness?

Exercise! My Trifecta is swimming, tennis, and volleyball. There’s nothing more relaxing for me than listening to foamy water muffle my thoughts and stressors; hearing the satisfying wack of a tennis ball; and cheering and shouting with my teammates when we score a point on a great volleyball rally.

What is your favourite health hack?

Yogurt on pancakes—it tastes almost like whip cream.

What is your ‘not-so-guilty’ pleasure?

Naps. Preferably warm-afternoon-3pm-sun-on-my face cat naps.

What are you currently reading?
